GRACE MEADOW HISTORY

The creation of Grace Meadow Counseling in 2000 was the culmination of a decades long dream of Jim and Susan Flowers to provide an independent, professionally excellent, Christian counseling/therapy service.

Jim is a Licensed Professional Counselor, and Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, who had contemplated such an organization since he was honorably discharged from the U.S. Marine Corps in 19XX. Susan, who has been a high school counselor since 2004, taught special needs children for 23 years.

ONE SIZE DOESN'T FIT ALL

So, some clients may be involved with EAP, while others are quietly visiting with Jim or another therapist in the secluded living room or other locations on the Farm.

Equine Assisted Psychotherapy is our distinctive, but we have honed our skills using other therapeutic models such as: cognitive-behavioral, strengths based, Gestalt, role play, etc.

Grace Meadow Counseling further expanded its ability to serve a variety of clients in 2005 when we leased a suite of offices at 1511 West Sevier Street, Suite C in Benton, just one block off I-30 and easily assessable from any direction. It is completely handicapped accessible, as is much of Grace Meadow Farm.

MOBILITY

Most Grace Meadow Counseling services are provided at Grace Meadow Farm, or the Benton office. However, we are mobile. Therapy groups, seminars, special events, and individual therapy sessions, have  been provided in courtrooms, churches, missions, and schools.

Our focus from the beginning has been on the unique needs of our clients, whether for specific type of counseling/therapy or even location. When you have need of professional counseling/therapy services, give us a call at 501-920-1901. For a list of Grace Meadow Counseling qualifications, click here.
